Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Download CrosPath and sign up with your email, Google, or Apple account. Complete your profile by adding photos, selecting your traveler tribe, and sharing your interests.
What are Traveler Tribes?
Tribes help us match you with like-minded travelers. Whether you're an Erasmus student, digital nomad, backpacker, or solo traveler, your tribe helps you find your community.
How do I complete my profile?
Go to your Profile tab and tap Edit. Add photos, write a bio, select your interests, and verify your account for better visibility.
Activities
How do I join an activity?
Browse activities on the Explore or Home page. Tap an activity to see details, then tap 'Join' if you're interested. The host will be notified of your request.
How do I create an activity?
Tap the + button in the navigation bar. Fill in the details including title, date, location, and any restrictions. Your activity will be visible to travelers in that city.
Can I restrict who joins my activity?
Yes! When creating an activity, you can set tribe restrictions, gender restrictions (e.g., women-only), and age ranges.
What if I need to cancel an activity?
Go to your activity page and tap the edit button. You can cancel the activity, which will notify all participants automatically.
Safety & Privacy
How does verification work?
We offer multiple verification levels: email, phone, selfie, and ID verification. Higher verification levels build more trust with other users.
How do I share my plans with emergency contacts?
Add emergency contacts in Settings > Safety. Before meeting someone, use 'Share My Plans' to send activity details to your contacts.
How do I report a user?
Tap the three dots on any profile or activity and select 'Report'. Provide details about the issue and our team will review it.
How do I block someone?
Visit their profile, tap the three dots, and select 'Block'. They won't be able to see your profile or activities.
Messages & Connections
How do I message someone?
You can message activity hosts directly, or chat with people you've matched with. Go to the Chats tab to see your conversations.
Why can't I send messages?
You need to verify your email to send messages. Some users may also restrict messages to activity participants only.
How do group chats work?
When you join an activity, you're automatically added to the activity's group chat where all participants can communicate.
Account & Settings
How do I change my notification settings?
Go to Settings and scroll to Notifications. You can customize push notifications, email alerts, and marketing communications.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > scroll to bottom > Delete Account. This will schedule your account for deletion. You have 30 days to recover it.
How do I export my data?
In compliance with GDPR, you can export all your data. Go to Settings > Privacy > Export My Data.
